Job summary

Leela’s Lunches in Dubai seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to ensure excellent service and smooth shift operations. You will oversee a small team, take orders, manage cash, and support daily F&B activities.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, training new staff, upholding food safety, and coordinating with fellow supervisors for efficient duty execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food service.
• Familiarity with food service POS systems.
• Commitment to following food safety protocols.
• Graduate with necessary certification.
• PIC Certificate is a bonus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 1–8 employees and oversee shift operations.
• Open/close registers and manage daily deposits.
• Assign duties and train staff in F&B operations.
• Provide feedback and recognition to employees.
• Handle customer requests and resolve issues during shifts.
• Take and serve customer orders and assist teammates.
• Coordinate with other supervisors for smooth shift transitions.
• Maintain and clean equipment.

Job description

Our food and beverage supervisors ensure that all customers receive excellent service while also making certain that operations run smoothly. They interact with customers regularly, taking orders, filling orders, and seeing to other requests that customers might have. They are also responsible for supervising fellow food and beverage employees, making sure that all related duties are properly executed and addressing potential issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing between 1 and 8 employees at a time
• Opening and closing registers for employees
• Counting register drawers and daily deposits, resolving any variances
• Assigning duties to employees as needed to ensure smooth F&B operations
• Training new employees on F&B operations
• Providing employees with recognition and feedback throughout shifts
• Resolving customer requests and other issues that arise during shifts
• Taking and serving customer orders
• Assisting other employees when help is needed
• Communicating with other supervisors to facilitate smooth shift transitions
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment

Qualifications

• Atleast 3 yrs of experience in food service
• Familiarity with food service POS systems
• Track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to be a team player
• Commitment to follow food safety protocols
• Graduate with necessary certification
• Having PIC Certificate is a bonus
