Job summary

Swiss Connect Solutions seeks an experienced Floor & Events Manager for a luxury fine dining restaurant in Dubai. You will oversee daily floor operations, lead the service team, and coordinate events and buffets to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires managing VIP areas, coordinating with kitchen and other departments, and delivering flawless service with strong guest-relations skills. Fluent English is mandatory; flexibility to work shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum relevant experience in floor management or events in fine dining.
• Experience in luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven experience managing events and buffets.
• Excellent leadership and guest-relations skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are hiring an experienced professional and hands-on Floor & Events Manager to join a luxury fine dining restaurant in Dubai.

The successful candidate will oversee daily floor operations lead the service team coordinate events and buffets and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant floor operations including VIP and event areas.
• Supervise assign and support waiters food runners and service staff.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Monitor service quality guest satisfaction and overall restaurant standards.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen reception cashier beverage team and management.
• Plan and coordinate events including setup staffing seating service and guest requirements.
• Supervise buffet setup presentation replenishment and service.
• Welcome and maintain communication with VIP guests and event organizers.
• Handle guest requests feedback and complaints professionally.
• Train and coach service staff and monitor grooming hygiene and performance.
• Monitor restaurant equipment breakages wastage and operational issues.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in maintaining smooth and professional restaurant operations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Floor Manager Restaurant Supervisor Events Manager or similar role.
• Experience in a fine dining luxury restaurant or high-end hospitality environment.
• Proven experience managing events and buffets.
• Strong leadership communication and guest-relations skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
