Job summary

Abdulwahed Bin Shabib Investment Group LLC in Dubai seeks a Fleet Manager to oversee the companys vehicle fleet, ensuring availability, proper maintenance, and regulatory compliance to support daily business operations.

You will manage maintenance, fuel monitoring, driver scheduling, vendor negotiations, and reporting on fleet performance, while driving cost efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3–4 years of fleet or logistics management experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet practices.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and GPS tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Monitor fleet utilization, fuel consumption and costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage registrations, insurance, licensing and docs.
• Supervise drivers, scheduling and performance.
• Investigate accidents and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate vehicle procurement, replacement and disposal.
• Track fleet performance using GPS and reporting systems.
• Negotiate with vendors for maintenance and services.
• Implement initiatives to improve efficiency and safety.

Job description

The Fleet Manager oversees the company s fleet operations ensuring vehicles are available well-maintained compliant with regulations and used efficiently to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company s vehicle fleet
• Ensure timely preventive maintenance servicing and repairs of vehicles
• Monitor fleet utilization fuel consumption and operating costs
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage vehicle registration insurance licensing and related documentation
• Supervise and coordinate drivers including scheduling and performance monitoring
• Investigate accidents and implement corrective and preventive measures
• Coordinate vehicle procurement replacement and disposal
• Track fleet performance using GPS and fleet management systems
• Prepare reports on fleet performance maintenance and operational costs
• Negotiate with vendors and service providers for maintenance fuel and fleet-related services
• Implement initiatives to improve fleet efficiency reduce costs and enhance safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in fleet, transportation, or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management practices.
• Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of transportation laws, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
• Ability to analyze fleet performance data and manage budgets effectively.
• Valid driver's license (preferred or required, depending on the role).
