About the Role

As Facilities Supervisor, you will coordinate technicians, maintenance activities and Planned Preventive Maintenance requirements across essential building services. The position combines hands-on technical supervision with workforce coordination, troubleshooting, work-order control and system performance monitoring. You will work closely with Operations, BMS and Engineering teams to maintain reliable services throughout the property.

Facilities Operations

• Supervise technicians and allocate daily maintenance assignments.
• Coordinate Planned Preventive Maintenance activities.
• Monitor completion of scheduled and corrective maintenance work.
• Verify the quality of completed maintenance tasks.
• Review and close work orders following completion.

MEP and BMS Systems

• Lead troubleshooting of HVAC system faults.
• Coordinate diagnosis and rectification of plumbing issues.
• Support electrical troubleshooting and maintenance requirements.
• Manage BMS-related technical issues in coordination with relevant teams.
• Monitor equipment performance, system alarms and operating parameters.
• Apply practical knowledge of pumps, controls and associated building systems.
• Coordinate with BMS, Operations and Engineering teams to optimize system performance.
• Escalate major faults and recommend appropriate improvements.

Team Leadership

A key part of the role is developing technicians while maintaining effective daily operations. You will provide technical direction, guide colleagues during maintenance work and mentor team members on site. The ability to interpret technical drawings, assign work appropriately and lead technicians during routine and critical maintenance activities is essential.

Safety and Critical Operations

• Ensure work complies with HSE requirements.
• Maintain adherence to applicable standard operating procedures.
• Ensure established facility standards are followed.
• Support planned shutdown activities.
• Participate in emergency response when required.
• Coordinate maintenance support during critical operations.
• Escalate significant operational or safety concerns promptly.

About You

Candidates should hold an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have five to seven years of facilities experience. Previous experience in a supervisory position is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS coordination, pumps and controls is required. You should be capable of reading technical drawings and confidently leading maintenance teams. Good reporting and communication abilities are important, together with the basic computer skills required for facilities documentation and operational coordination.
