Job summary

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair is seeking a Captain to lead and inspire the food & beverage team in a vibrant Dubai hotel environment.

You will supervise waiters and busboys, ensure service standards, and develop deep knowledge of the beverage and menu offerings to advise guests. This role emphasizes guest relations, training, and smooth outlet operations across a dynamic property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of hotel industry experience preferred.
• Excellence in strategic leadership and team management.
• Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of the Waiters and Busboys in assigned area.
• Performs all necessary tasks to service Food & Beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the Hotel.
• Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu of the assigned Outlet to assist Guests.
• Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
• Ensure the Outlet is set-up for service and supervise for a smooth operation.
• Direct and supervise the service team to ensure duties are performed as per standards.
• Ensure that all Employees have received adequate training to perform their duties.
• Ensure proper organization, planning and control of supplies and maintain concise record of all beverage stock.
