Job summary

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Captain to provide professional, guest-focused service and lead the service team to ensure a memorable dining experience. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of the outlet menu and assist guests with recommendations.

You will supervise service staff, coordinate duties, and ensure smooth operation of the outlet while maintaining stock control, minimizing wastage, and training colleagues to perform at peak standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of beverage/menu offerings for advising guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks to service food & beverage to hotel standards.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the outlet's menu to assist guests.
• Attend to guest complaints and queries satisfactorily.
• Ensure the Outlet is prepared and running smoothly for service.
• Direct and supervise the service team to meet standards.
• Ensure colleagues are trained to perform duties effectively.
• Organize, plan and control supplies; maintain stock records.
• Minimize wastage, breakage and spoilage.
• Utilize upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and boost revenue.
