Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Purchase Order Expediting specialist to accelerate procurement of materials for Operations. You will expedite POs, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain real-time ERP records to ensure on-time delivery.

You will also manage supplier communications, monitor performance, resolve documentation issues, and support 24/7 service delivery across global operations, adhering to company procedures and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement expediting, supply chain, or logistics.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems and supplier performance management.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point).
• Fluent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Expedite Purchase Orders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with local and international suppliers to monitor order progress and on-time delivery.
• Identify potential delays, implement recovery plans and address issues according to procedures.
• Provide timely progress updates and maintain real-time ERP records for PO and shipment milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery and documentation issues, and support evaluations.
• Prepare supplier performance reports and management updates.
• Coordinate transportation planning and freight movements for air, sea and land when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, warehouse and contractual requirements.

Job description

Purchase Order Expediting

Expedite Purchase Orders POs to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials supporting Operations

Coordinate with local and international suppliers to monitor order progress shipment readiness and on-time delivery

Identify potential delays implement recovery plans and escape issues in accordance with company procedures

Provide timely progress updates and maintain accurate real-time ERP records for all PO and shipment milestones

Supplier Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers Procurement Logistics Warehouse Engineering Finance and End Users

Monitor supplier performance resolve delivery and documentation issues and support supplier evaluations

Ensure timely submission of Quality Verification Documents QVDs and facilitate resolution of payment contractual and material-related issues

Prepare supplier performance reports and management updates

Logistics Freight Coordination

Coordinate transportation planning and freight movements air sea and land where applicable

Work with freight forwarders and internal logistics teams to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries

Coordinate warehouse receiving activities and manage shipment exceptions including OSDD NCR export-controlled items FANR requirements and other regulatory compliance obligations

Service Delivery Compliance

Deliver expediting services on a 24 7 basis to support global suppliers operational outages emergencies and business-critical requirements

Maintain adequate resource planning including shift coverage leave replacement and business continuity

Ensure compliance with company s cybersecurity security warehouse Health Safety and all applicable statutory and contractual requirements

Support additional operational assignments as directed by Company Operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

3–5 years of experience in procurement expediting, supply chain, or logistics, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, energy, or infrastructure environments in the UAE.

Experience with SAP ERP systems and supplier performance management.

Proficient in all Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)
