Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas/EPC sectors preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Certifications such as CIPS or APICS are advantageous.

Are you a detail-oriented procurement professional with a passion for driving project success through effective supplier coordination and delivery management? We are looking for a Procurement Expeditor to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services for major Oil & Gas EPC projects.

This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced project environments and have proven experience managing supplier performance, preventing procurement delays, and supporting large-scale engineering and construction projects.

YOUR ROLE

As Procurement Expeditor, you will be responsible to the following but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

Expediting Procurement Deliveries

• Monitor procurement orders and ensure suppliers meet agreed delivery schedules.
• Follow up on order status and proactively address potential delays.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Project teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues relating to quality, delivery, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure suppliers provide timely status updates and progress reports.

Procurement Documentation & Tracking

• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Track outstanding orders and ensure procurement documentation is updated and properly filed.

Procurement Compliance & Procedures

• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and industry best practices.
• Support policy implementation, updates, and team awareness initiatives.
• Assist in promoting procurement governance and compliance standards.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement expediting processes.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to reduce lead times and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement activities.

MIS Reporting & Procurement Updates

• Prepare procurement status reports, supplier performance reports, and delivery forecasts.
• Update ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle with procurement progress.
• Escalate risks and delays to stakeholders and management in a timely manner.
• Identify potential procurement risks impacting project schedules.
• Develop mitigation plans and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Support contingency planning for critical materials and services.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Warehouse, and Project Management teams.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate receipt, inspection, and storage of procured materials.
• Monitor inventory levels to support project requirements while avoiding overstocking.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the procurement team.
• Contribute to a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Cost Control

• Support procurement cost monitoring and budget compliance.
• Identify and report cost discrepancies that may impact project performance.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, Power, Marine, Civil, or Industrial Plant sectors.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Education and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline

Professional certifications such as CIPS, APICS, or equivalent are advantageous

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and expediting activities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Knowledge of supply chain management best practices and industry regulations
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
