Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in the United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled professional for new product development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing products from concept to market launch, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. A B.Sc in Dairy Technology or Food Tech and 3-5 years of relevant experience are essential. This role requires strong competencies in food technology, analytical skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop new products and improve existing ones from concept to launch.

Job description
Job Summary

JM NPD is responsible to ensure development new products while closely working with Head NPD. He/She is also responsible to execute all research and development activities independently or under supervision.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing new and improving existing products from concept stage to launch stage.
  • Ensure scaling up of NPD's by working with internal/external manufacturing plants
  • Ensure process development & optimization in plants
  • Pre-launch storage studies and shelf life studies of new product.
  • Search new suppliers to source ingredients of RM & PM that complement our existing product range.
  • RM & PM specification and selection & recommendation of packaging material.
  • Liaising between production, marketing and quality assurance department to produce a desired product at an acceptable quality standard.
  • Documentation and online modification of recipes, routing and formulas in ORACLE. Maintenance of COA and specification sheets of new ingredients in initial stages.
KPIs
  • New Product Development from ideation to commercialization
  • Assimilate global/regional trends in F&B & create new concepts in F&B
  • Scaling up R&D product designs into commercial production by working closely with SC & Manufacturing teams
  • Ensure optimum & consistent processes in Manufacturing plants to ensure high quality outputs
  • Recipe optimisation & value engineering
Work Experience Requirement

3 to 5 years of hands on experience.
