Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks an experienced Global Markets Sales professional to originate and distribute GM solutions to UAE corporates, delivering revenue targets.

You will collaborate with product, risk, and coverage teams to provide multi-asset class solutions (FX, money markets, credit, derivatives) while building long-term client relationships and ensuring compliance. The role demands strong communication and cross-border coordination in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking or Financial Management or equivalent, i.e., Bachelors/Master's or equivalents.
• Proven 10–15+ years in Financial Markets, preferably Corporate Sales within Global Markets.
• Knowledge of Global Market products, including risk valuations, XVA pricing and RAROC.
• Established UAE-based mid and large-size corporate client relationships.
• Direct customer support / client service experience.
• Strong communications and analytical skills.
• Experience with MIS and performance metrics to grow client portfolios.
• Experience in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
• Experience collaborating with regional/global teams.
• Strong team player with ability to accommodate diverse views and drive performance.
• Clear communication with internal/external clients, partners, and technology.
• Accountability and seeking guidance when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Origination and distribution of Global Markets solutions to FAB Corporate Banking clients, meeting revenue targets.
• Develop and deepen client relationships through regular engagement and cross-sell opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to GM Sales requirements in FAB's regulatory and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with GM product, Coverage teams and enablement functions to deliver high-quality execution.
• Strong team player, collaborating with the GM Sales Team and supporting as required.
• Escalate client/internal issues to line manager within an appropriate timeframe.
• Participate in client events/forums/off-site events as required.
• Maximize client flow and cross-sell opportunities to grow the GM franchise.
• Segment coverage including Large Local corporates, Real Estate, Traders etc., as assigned.
• Provide multi-asset class coverage (FX, Money Market, Credit, Derivatives, Islamic products).
• Engage with Credit/Risk/Legal/Compliance for development and delivery.
• Geographical coverage may start local and extend to global as required.
• May be assigned managerial duties over interns/graduates/teams.
