As a member of the Global Markets Sales within Global Markets the incumbent will be a strong team player with the ability to deliver agreed sales and revenue targets across Global Markets. In addition along with identifying and cultivating cross sell opportunities within the sectors and geographies this will be a pre-requisite to build long term relationships aimed at firmly establishing FAB as the go to bank

Candidate will be a strong team player with the ability to deliver agreed revenue targets along with identifying & cultivating cross sell opportunities within assigned clint base to build long term relationships to firmly establish FAB as the go to bank for all FX Rates and Commodities.

The specific customer segment under the scope will be Financial Institutions SWF Central Banks and NBFIs

Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for handling the Global Markets flow business in the FX Rates and Commodities covering MENA Turkey Egypt Europe and America region.
  • Pricing vanilla FX and Interest Rates (on Bloomberg and FXT) and engage with the team to learn and grow in the derivative space.
  • Work alongside the team to engage with clients based in the UAE and MENA region serving their financial needs and providing tailored solutions along with building and maintaining a strong client relationship.
  • Staying up to date with market trends economic development and providing valuable insights to clients and the team.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members sharing knowledge and insight and contributing to a cohesive and high performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with the lead client salespersons with continuous updates on the revenues and volumes achieved.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Assist in implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential exposures.
  • Ensure client / internal / monetary impacting issues are escalated appropriately to line manager within suitable timeframe.
  • Expectation to participate in client meetings events and forums.
Experience and Qualification
  • Minimum experience of 1 year working in Financial Markets.
  • Knowledge of Global Market products at a minimum FX and Money markets.
  • Direct Customer support / Client Service experience.
  • Strong and effective communications and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working in a high volume and high-pressure environment.
  • Regional and/or foreign language skills would be an added advantage.
  • Strong team player with ability to accommodate a range of views and drive team performance.
  • Confident at communication to all levels of internal and external clients business partners and technology.
  • Accurate thorough and highly responsible with a good attention to detail.
