Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Workshop Team Leader - Volvo Service in Dubai to lead the Volvo Personal Service team, drive daily planning, provide technical guidance, and coach technicians for improved productivity and service quality.

The role focuses on reducing delays, maintaining high service standards, enabling EV competency, and achieving strong customer satisfaction. UAE driving license is required and training through Al-Futtaim Automotive Academy is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile engineering or related technical discipline.
• At least five years as a technical lead, workshop team leader, diagnostic technician, or senior technician in a automotive dealership.
• Advanced EV knowledge and relevant EV certifications (AATC, IMI Level 4 or equivalent).
• Valid UAE driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Volvo Personal Service team to improve customer experience, productivity, repair quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct daily workshop meetings to review priorities, work progress, technical issues, staffing needs, and operational concerns.
• Maintain workshop work in progress below two days of available capacity.
• Coordinate with Al-Futtaim Automotive Academy for technical assessments and training plans.
• Deliver on-the-job coaching based on output, quality, and business needs.
