Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive – Volvo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Technical Advisor – Volvo to lead the Volvo Personal Service team, coach technicians, and drive workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate planning, support technical activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, EV knowledge, quality standards, and collaboration with the Academy to develop technician capabilities and ensure high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Advanced certification in electric vehicle (EV) technology.
• AATC and/or IMI Level 4 certification preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Volvo Personal Service team to meet workshop and customer service goals.
• Support daily planning, monitor workload, and improve productivity and service quality.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to Personal Service Technicians.
• Enhance customer experience and support retention and service sales initiatives.
• Promote 5S and continuous improvement; drive workshop efficiency and audit follow-up.
• Develop technician capabilities and coordinate with the Al-Futtaim Automotive Academy.
