Job summary
Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for Volvo Trucks. You will be the primary contact for customers throughout the service journey, translating technical concerns into clear repair instructions, coordinating with workshop teams, and ensuring repairs are completed to quality and within agreed timelines.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive aftersales, hands-on experience with dealer management systems, and a valid UAE driving licence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a service advisory/aftersales role in automotive
- Hands-on experience using a dealer management system in an automotive aftersales environment
- Experience preparing and managing repair orders, service estimates, and customer handovers
- Valid UAE driving licence and ability to move/test vehicles
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand vehicle concerns and service requirements
- Document concerns and prepare detailed repair orders for workshop
- Explain repairs, costs and completion times to customers
- Coordinate with workshop teams to monitor progress and ensure timely completion
- Communicate repair status and delivery commitments to customers
- Verify completed work against repair orders and invoices
- Deliver vehicles and explain repairs and charges
- Promote relevant service offerings and maintenance solutions
- Resolve customer concerns to achieve satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with processes
