Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced EV Service Advisor to join the BYD Aftersales Team in Dubai. You will guide customers through maintenance, charging and service needs, coordinating with EV Technicians and workshop staff to deliver efficient, transparent aftersales experiences.

Your role combines automotive knowledge with strong customer service and service sales, aiming to strengthen loyalty and workshop revenue while ensuring accurate communication and timely vehicle handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive Aftersales position.
• Experience with electric vehicle or hybrid brands is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of automotive workshop operations, maintenance procedures and service processes.
• Basic knowledge of electric vehicle technology, charging systems and ownership requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• A UAE driving license is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally and understand their EV maintenance, repair and service requirements.
• Provide clear advice on EV servicing, charging systems, maintenance procedures and vehicle-related concerns.
• Explain recommended repairs, service requirements and associated costs in a straightforward, customer-friendly manner.
• Prepare accurate service estimates and communicate the proposed work before workshop processing.
• Build positive, long-term customer relationships through consistent service quality and professional communication.
• Address customer questions and concerns promptly to maintain confidence throughout the aftersales experience.
