Job description

We are seeking to hire for Estimator -Stand Build role, for one of our clients based in Dubai, UAE,to support in the costing and Scope finalization processes for various upcoming Exhibitions.

Estimatorscollect and analyse data to determine the costs and benefits for projects related to Stand Buildand create reports for use in making financial decisions that impact the company's bottom line. They also respond to requests for proposalssuch as calculating the costs of a project before work commences, covering everythingfrom materials, labour, equipment hires, transport costs and everything in between.

Candidate needs to be fully aware of market trends with regards to different material pricing and specifications

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Review stand specifications, drawings, and client requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates for stand builds.
• Analyze materials, labor, and equipment needs to produce accurate budgets and quotes.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and update estimates during project progression, adjusting for changes or unforeseen costs.
• Assist in providing costing with commercial tender for submission to the client for main contracting event and exhibition
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency of proposed builds.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Support procurement by providing cost breakdowns and justifications.
• An in-depth appreciation of engineering techniques, construction processes and their suitability to different applications and system such as CPQ & ERP Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
