Job summary

GEMS Education in Abu Dhabi seeks a Registrar to manage student enrolment numbers in line with school budgets. The role involves meeting with prospective parents, explaining admission procedures, curriculum, fees and regulations, and guiding families through the enrolment process.

You will maintain accurate waiting lists and student records, manage the OASIS database daily, and produce enrolment reports for leadership and corporate offices.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective parents to explain admission procedures, curriculum, fee structure and regulations.
• Maintain an accurate record of all places available and an up-to-date waiting list detailing students awaiting placement.
• Update, maintain and manage the student information in the OASIS database daily.
• Ensure enrolment processes (re-enrolment, Parent School Contract, and registration) are completed on schedule.
• Prepare reports for the School Principal/CEO and corporate office on enrolments, waiting lists, vacancies, and conversion data.
• Collaborate with Principal/CEO, SLT and FOH to develop and implement enrolment strategies to meet budget targets.
• Maintain files for all applicants, current and exiting students and alumni; complete exit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ADEK rules and GEMS policies; address audit items timely.
• Perform other duties as requested by line managers/supervisors.
