Responsibilities

• The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering a dynamic curriculum that integrates traditional literary studies with contemporary communication skills. The program emphasizes literature analysis, creative and academic writing, and critical thinking, incorporating modern storytelling mediums such as digital media and journalism. With access to extensive literary resources and industry partnerships, the teacher will foster a deep appreciation for language while equipping students with skills relevant to evolving professional and creative landscapes.

Qualifications

• Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Have proven experience of teaching English to KS4/KS5 or equivalent
• Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice
• Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective and solution focused
• Be creative and enthusiastic in their approach to teaching
