Job summary

Paramount Hotel Dubai is seeking a Duty Manager to lead hotel operations during your shift and ensure exceptional guest experiences while supporting and inspiring our Front Stage Cast.

You will welcome VIP guests, monitor KPIs, coach the team, coordinate with Revenue and Events, and uphold safety standards. A luxury hospitality background and Opera PMS knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 5‑star hotel environment with strong front office operations.
• 2+ years as Duty Manager or equivalent senior operations role in luxury hospitality.
• Proven leadership with ability to coach and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, guest engagement, problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for hotel operations during your duty.
• Ensure a warm, personalised guest experience and upholds Paramount standards.
• Lead, coach and support the Front Stage Cast to deliver exceptional service.
• Personally welcome VIP guests and key corporate clients.
• Monitor guest feedback, service performance and departmental KPIs.
• Maintain strong commercial awareness across Front Office operations (cashiering, PM accounts, inventory, upselling).
• Collaborate with Revenue, Events, Group Sales and other departments for smooth operations.
• Drive discovery enrolments, guest engagement and upselling performance.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards and procedures.
• Support Night Manager responsibilities when required.

At Paramount Hotel Dubai, every moment is part of the show—and we’re looking for a Duty Manager who knows how to keep the entire performance running seamlessly.

As the operational lead in the absence of Department Managers and Directors, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence and seamless Front Stage delivery, while supporting and inspiring our Cast across the hotel.

What you’ll be doing:

• Take overall responsibility for hotel operations during your duty


• Ensure every Star receives a warm, personalised and anticipative experience


• Lead, coach and support our Front Stage Cast to deliver Paramount standards


• Personally welcome VIP guests and key corporate clients


• Monitor guest feedback, service performance and departmental KPIs to drive continuous improvement


• Maintain strong commercial awareness across Front Office operations, including cashiering, PM accounts, inventory and upselling


• Work closely with Revenue, Events, Group Sales and other departments to ensure smooth operations


• Drive Paramount DISCOVERY enrolments, guest engagement and NOR1 upselling performance


• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards and operational procedures


• Support Night Manager responsibilities when required

What we’re looking for:

• Wide experience in Hotel and Front Office Management


• 2+ years’ experience as a Duty Manager within a 5-star hotel brand is desirable


• Strong knowledge of OPERA PMS and Front Stage operations


• Experience managing VIP arrivals and guest engagement


• Strong leadership, problem-solving and multitasking abilities


• Excellent verbal and written English


• Additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish or German are an advantage


• Front Stage Operations certification or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree; hotel school qualification is desirable


• Health & Safety certification is an advantage
