Job summary

Anantara Downtown Dubai seeks a Duty Manager to lead the night shift, ensuring smooth guest arrivals, VIP handling and seamless operations. You will supervise a night team, resolve issues promptly and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

You will also oversee the night audit process, coordinate with departments, and participate in ongoing trainings to keep staff up-to-date on hotel products, services, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality with a focus on guest service.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a night team under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor night arrivals and ensure all requests are executed smoothly.
• Manage reservations, VIP room inspections, arrivals and departures.
• Ensure guest satisfaction issues are followed up promptly.
• Complete the night audit in line with hotel standards.
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests as needed.
• Keep the team informed about hotel products, services, and outlets; participate in trainings.

• Monitor all night arrivals, ensuring all requests are carried out smoothly. Ensure all reservations are honoured, or dealt with as quickly and smoothly as possible. Deal with VIP room inspections/arrivals/departures.
• Ensure all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that follow up is completed on a timely basis.
• Complete the night audit in line with the standards and procedures of the resort for night manager.
• Submit housekeeping and cleaning requests as required.
• Ensure all team member are up to date with current facts of the hotel products and services including room types, rates, relatives and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club.
• Attend training sessions as required.
