Job summary

Accor is seeking a friendly Welcomer to join our Dubai team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm, personalized welcome and ensuring smooth arrival and departure experiences in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of Front Office or guest-facing experience in a four- or five-star hotel, strong English, excellent communication, and the ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front office or guest-facing hotel experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/public holidays.
• Knowledge of Dubai and local attractions.
• Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences.
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information.
• Offer welcome beverages or amenities on arrival.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain a visible lobby presence and be available to assist guests.
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and promotions.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues or escalate them appropriately.
• Ensure guest preferences are recorded and communicated effectively.
• Maintain a polished appearance in line with brand standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer relevant recommendations to enhance their stay.
