Job summary

Lifecare International Insurance Brokers in Dubai seeks an experienced Assistant Manager - Claims & Operations to manage end-to-end General Insurance claims, including Group Life, and drive operational excellence across the team.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and internal teams, delivering accurate endorsements, service standards, and proactive claims resolution with a focus on client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in General Insurance claims and operations.
• Experience handling claims across multiple General Insurance classes, including Group Life.
• Brokerage experience is advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding of policies, coverage, conditions and exclusions.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end General Insurance claims from notification through to settlement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Review claim submissions and supporting documents for completeness and policy compliance.
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, assessors, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely claim resolution.
• Monitor claim progress and proactively follow up on outstanding matters.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to achieve fair and optimal claim outcomes.
• Maintain accurate claims records, reporting, and tracking mechanisms.
• Conduct claims review meetings with insurers and service providers to improve outcomes.
