Job summary

Global Recruitz is seeking an experienced Claims Manager in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) to lead the Non-Motor Claims function. The role focuses on efficient handling of claims, optimizing costs, and enhancing customer experience from Dubai-based operations.

The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in insurance claims, with 3–5 years in a supervisory role, and experience across Property, Casualty, Engineering, Marine, and more. ACII/AIll is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance claims, with 3–5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience across Property, Casualty, Engineering, Marine, General Accident, Travel, Home and Retail Insurance.
• ACII/AIII or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle including assessment, reserving, settlement, recoveries, litigation and closure.
• Ensure reserve adequacy, claims leakage control and effective cost management.
• Manage relationships with customers, brokers, reinsurers, co-insurers, surveyors, adjusters and legal advisors.
• Lead, coach and develop the claims team and monitor performance.
• Drive fraud prevention, claims governance and risk-control initiatives.
• Oversee recoveries, salvage and third-party claims.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, AML/sanctions guidelines and internal policies.
• Analyse claims trends and prepare management reports to support business and profitability decisions.
• Monitor external vendors/service providers and ensure agreed service standards are met.
