Job summary

SO/ Uptown Dubai is seeking a friendly Residences Lounge Assistant in Dubai to welcome residents and guests, maintain the lounge, and assist with inquiries, reservations, and light refreshments.

In this role you will uphold high standards of hospitality, coordinate with other departments, and provide local information to guests while ensuring smooth operations in a luxurious lounge environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Effective time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Basic computer skills for managing reservations and guest records
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents and guests to the lounge area with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations for lounge services
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, ensuring it meets high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Prepare and serve light refreshments, beverages, and snacks as required
• Monitor and replenish lounge supplies and amenities
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil guest requests and resolve any issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist in organizing and setting up for special events or gatherings in the lounge area
• Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and services to guests
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, requests, and feedback
