Job summary

Kempinski Hotels SA in Dubai is seeking a Restaurant Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team. You will deliver courteous, professional service to guests, upsell menu items and ensure a memorable dining experience consistent with Kempinski’s luxury standards.

Reporting to the Head Waiter / Waitress and supervisors, you will maintain spotless outlets, know the menu, handle guest inquiries, operate the POS, and support inventory and opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in an F&B service role.
• Excellent English oral and written skills; additional language is an advantage.
• Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; professional, confidential and ethical.
• Ability to identify and delegate tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Report to Head Waiter / Waitress and other supervisory staff.
• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of all hotel services and products.
• Upsell menu items and explain alternatives.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and outlets.
• Operate the POS system as trained.
• Follow hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries and report feedback to supervisors.
• Assist in inventory of products and equipment.
