Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai is seeking a Commercial Coordinator to support the Director of Commercial Strategy and the Sales team. You will act as a key liaison between the Sales team and hotel departments, handling administrative tasks and ensuring timely execution of commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management.
• Minimum 2 years' experience within Sales in a luxury 5-star hotel.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; GCC experience and an additional language advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all assigned requests and activities are handled accurately and within the time frame set by the company.
• Provides administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Events teams in day-to-day management of business and event requirements.
• Prepares and coordinates event-related documentation including proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, change forms and other interdepartmental documents.
• Coordinates and oversees the administration of internal hotel events, acting as the central point of contact for event requirements and liaising with relevant departments for smooth execution.
• Conducts or assists with site inspections as required and supports the Events team with client appointments and meetings.
• Acts as a first point of contact for external Sales and Events enquiries, ensuring requests are delegated and followed up for timely response.
