Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Sales Manager in the Events team to drive conference, events and group revenues while ensuring exceptional execution. This role reports to the Director of Events and requires strong hospitality sales experience.

Based in Dubai, the candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Business Management and at least 3 years in luxury hospitality sales. Proficiency with Delphi and excellent English communication are essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management with 3+ years in hospitality sales or events.
• Experience in luxury hotel environments with knowledge of conference, events, catering, and sales operations.
• Proficiency in computer applications and sales systems, including Delphi.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to understand guest needs and build relationships.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, time management, communication, and presentation skills; English strong, Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive conference, events, catering, and group business revenue to meet targets.
• Manage end-to-end sales process from proposals to contracts and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with clients and hotel operations for seamless event execution.
• Build and maintain relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales records and participate in sales activities and meetings.
