Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Commercial Coordinator to join the Commercial Sales team. Based in Dubai, this role supports the Director of Commercial Strategy and the Sales team to ensure smooth operations and drive commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Business Management with at least 2 years' experience in luxury hotel sales, strong admin skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management with a minimum of 2 years' experience in luxury 5-star hotel sales.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Delphi, including booking management, reporting, and database maintenance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and service-oriented approach.
• Proactive problem-solver with time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English; GCC experience and proficiency in an additional language are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all assigned requests and activities are handled accurately and within the time frame set by the company.
• Provides administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Events teams in the day-to-day management of business and event requirements.
• Prepares and coordinates event-related documentation, including proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, change forms and other relevant interdepartmental documents, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Coordinates and oversees the administration of internal hotel events, acting as the central point of contact for event requirements and liaising with relevant departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Conducts site inspections as required and supports the Events team with client appointments and meetings.
• Acts as a first point of contact for external Sales and Events enquiries, ensuring requests are appropriately delegated to the relevant team member and followed up for timely response.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Commercial Department, the Commercial Coordinator supports the Director of Commercial Strategy, Associate Director of Sales, and the wider Sales team to ensure the smooth operation of the department. The role serves as a key liaison between the Sales team and hotel departments, providing administrative and operational support to drive the achievement of the hotel's commercial objectives. The Commercial Coordinator reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy.

As a Commercial Coordinator, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Ensures all assigned requests and activities are handled accurately and within the time frame set by the company.
