Job summary
Caliberly in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Junior Legal – Assistant Manager to support legal and compliance within a shipping and logistics environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in legal roles, preferably shipping/logistics/corporate environments.
- Knowledge of UAE laws and maritime regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to internal departments on day-to-day business matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, maritime regulations, and corporate policies.
- Assist in handling disputes, claims, and litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel.
- Maintain accurate records of legal documents and case files; prepare legal reports for management.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and HR; liaise with external stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
