Job summary

Whitehats Information Technology is seeking an IT Support Field Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support and infrastructure administration in Dubai. You will work across end-user environments, Microsoft technologies, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity to ensure reliability and performance.

The role combines on-site and remote support with a focus on client satisfaction, incident resolution within SLAs, and effective communication in a fast-paced field setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years in IT support, systems administration, or field engineering.
• Strong hands-on Windows and macOS support experience.
• Proven Windows Server administration and infrastructure support.
• Solid Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Networking experience: LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VLANs.
• VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtualization experience.
• Backup technologies and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Understanding of firewalls and endpoint security.
• Experience using ITSM/ticketing systems with SLA-driven support.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for Windows and macOS users.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Administer Windows Server and core IT infrastructure.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; handle user accounts.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace platforms.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, and VLANs.
• Configure and maintain VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Manage backups and support disaster recovery processes.
• Implement endpoint security controls and firewall protection.
• Resolve incidents per SLA; document issues and resolutions.
• Deliver strong customer service and maintain service quality.
