Job summary

Whitehats LLC seeks a Senior IT Field Engineer in Dubai to own onsite deployment, configuration, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructures across customer environments. You will handle Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure, plus enterprise networking and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure, field engineering or technical support experience.
• Strong practical Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure experience.
• Networking proficiency: VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, Wi‑Fi.
• VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization with physical servers.
• Enterprise firewalls: FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco, Ubiquiti.
• Backup/DR: Veeam, Acronis, Azure Backup.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across Dubai and Emirates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert onsite and remote IT field support across Dubai and Emirates.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid cloud infra.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure tenants, user migrations, and security configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Deploy and maintain VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, and physical servers.
• Install and manage enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco, Ubiquiti).
• Implement backup and DR with Veeam, Acronis, Azure Backup.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with professional communication and rapid resolution.
• Support MSP operations, escalations, audits, and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to cybersecurity best practices and standard operating procedures.
