Job summary

Excis is seeking an Onsite IT Support Engineer in Dubai to deliver end-user and executive support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, configure devices, and manage deployments while supporting remote users and multiple office locations.

The role includes IMAC requests, AV support, asset management, and collaboration with internal teams. Fluent English is essential; local language knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• +3–8 years of Desktop Support or End-User Computing experience.
• +Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, SCCM, Intune, VPN, and endpoint management.
• +Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
• +Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• +Fluent in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for executive users and provide VIP support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and application issues.
• Support users working remotely or across multiple office locations.
• Perform installation, configuration, imaging, deployment, maintenance, and replacement of desktops and laptops.
• Configure BIOS, OS, device drivers, Microsoft applications, VPN, encryption, and endpoint security settings.
• Perform hardware upgrades, software installations, and patch deployments.
• Conduct device refresh and lifecycle replacement activities.
• Handle IMAC requests: Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission.
• Coordinate scheduling with end users and stakeholders.
• Perform data backup/restoration and workstation configuration.
• Test equipment/applications post-implementation for proper functionality.
• Provide basic user orientation after new installations.
• Perform basic LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting; provide Level 1 voice/data cabling support.
• Assist with file/print server support and network service connections.
• Prepare meeting rooms and AV support for meetings and events.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and manage allocation, replacement, disposal.
• Support onboarding/offboarding, access control, and secure remote access.
• Document incidents/requests, provide updates, and generate monthly reports.
• Follow change management, security, and IT compliance procedures.
