Job summary

AIQU seeks an Application Support Engineer for its Dubai team to provide technical and non-technical support for web and mobile apps, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, monitor system health and drive improvements.

Responsibilities include handling tickets within SLAs, troubleshooting IIS/SQL, deploying updates, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in application support or related IT role.
Strong knowledge of web application architectures and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting mobile applications on iOS and Android.
Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft IIS configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with IT support processes and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain health and performance of web and mobile applications.
Respond to, investigate and resolve support tickets within defined SLAs.
Troubleshoot issues related to SQL databases and IIS-hosted applications.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Deploy application updates patches and hotfixes in production and test environments.
Document support processes known issues and resolution steps.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Communicate status and incident details to stakeholders and end users.
