Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Job Controller to support workshop operations in Dubai, UAE. The role involves scheduling and allocating repair jobs, coordinating workshop activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring on-time delivery.

The successful candidate will work with the Workshop Controller, Manager, technicians, and other staff to maintain high work standards, safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in any relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a reputed automotive workshop in a similar Job Controller or workshop scheduling role.
• Master B&P Advisor or Technician certification.
• Fluency in spoken Arabic.
• Proficiency in computer applications and workshop-related systems.
• Previous automotive after-sales or workshop experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and allocate repair jobs to appropriate production lines based on workshop capacity and required completion times.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Controller on daily workshop operations and business activities.
• Plan and coordinate repair schedules with the Manager to optimize throughput.
• Monitor progress and ensure jobs are completed and delivered on time.
• Ensure compliance with QMS SOP and established quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of completed service and repair work and stay updated on new technologies and time standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve workshop productivity and efficiency and support safe, compliant operations.
