Job summary

Ummahjobs is seeking a Workshop Planner to join Al-Futtaim Automotive in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential for optimizing workshop operations and ensuring timely delivery of services.

The successful candidate will allocate jobs to technicians, monitor workflows, and ensure maximum efficiency. Candidates must have a diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive workshop role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar automotive workshop role.
• Strong technical knowledge with planning or job control exposure.
• Good command of English (Arabic is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Allocate jobs to technicians based on skillset for efficient workflow.
• Monitor job progress and workshop planning boards.
• Ensure fair distribution of work to maximize technician productivity.
• Support the 'Fix It Right' process to enhance quality.
• Track work-in-progress and ensure jobs are completed as scheduled.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to provide updates on job progress.
