Job summary

A leading automotive company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a qualified professional to prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD for various projects. Candidates should have a Diploma in Architecture or equivalent and 4-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2-3 years specifically in carpentry or joinery. Responsibilities include supporting the production team with design queries and ensuring timely delivery of accurate design specifications. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD based on provided specifications and conceptual drawings.
• Support the production/project team on design-related queries during project development.
• Incorporate client-suggested changes during production or installation.
• Assist design engineer in Value Engineering and Constructability reviews.
• Help prepare procurement lists for specific materials like ironmongers, glass, and steel.
• Ensure all required design deliverables are provided on time and are accurate.

Responsibilities

• • To prepare detailed drawings of the project based on conceptual drawings provided by the client/ consultant so as to enable the production department to start production
• Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• • Prepare detailed shop drawings using Auto-cad in accordance with the specifications and conceptual drawing provided by the customer/consultant so as to enable the production department to start production.
• • Support production/project team as and when required on design related queries, relevant during project development.
• • Incorporate changes/amendments, if any, suggested by the client during production or installation process and present a revised drawing for the approval of the client.
• • Assist design engineer to undertake Value Engineering and Constructability reviews during various design stages.
• • Assist design engineer in preparing procurement list of specific materials like Iron mongers, glass, steel etc.
• • Ensure that all required design deliverables are provided on time and are accurate in accordance with the specifications.
