Jumeirah Burj Al Arab seeks a Director – Membership to shape a bold club proposition and drive the membership strategy from the iconic property. You will lead acquisition, cultivate a discerning member community and oversee CRM, events and partnerships to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a track record in luxury hospitality, international leadership, and ability to translate vision into sustainable growth, with discretion and strong financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related; fluent English; additional languages advantageous.
• 10+ years leadership in luxury hospitality or private members’ clubs; international setting.
• Proven ability to translate membership vision into strategy, acquisition, engagement and revenue growth.
• Experience managing relationships with high-net-worth members and prospects with discretion.
• Strong track record in membership operations, CRM, bespoke experiences and partnerships.

• Lead an invitation-led acquisition strategy, cultivating prospects and referrals with refined introductions and welcome.

• Implement operating model, membership structures, policies, CRM processes and service protocols for seamless journeys.
• Develop luxury private events, bespoke experiences and collaborations to enhance member engagement.
• Inspire the team to own pricing, budgets and revenue forecasts to drive retention and commercial success.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director – Membership role to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Define a bold vision for membership at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, translating the spirit of an icon into a compelling club proposition, ambitious strategy and annual business plan that make belonging truly extraordinary.
• Lead an ambitious, invitation-led acquisition strategy, bringing together a discerning community through carefully cultivated prospects and trusted referrals, with every introduction, selection and personalised welcome reflecting the distinction of the Burj.
• Open doors across global high-net-worth networks and key international markets, forging enduring relationships with prospective members, trusted introducers and luxury partners through cultural fluency, personal understanding and uncompromising discretion.
• Turn exceptional ambition into flawless orchestration, implementing the operating model, membership structures, policies, CRM processes and service protocols behind effortless member journeys; private members’ club pre-opening experience would be a distinct advantage.
• Bring the extraordinary within reach through a distinctive calendar of private occasions, bespoke experiences and luxury collaborations, awakening discovery, celebrating members’ passions and creating connections that make belonging to the Burj unmistakably special.
• Inspire the membership team to bring this vision to life across members-only outlets, pairing exceptional personalised service with ownership of pricing, budgets and revenue forecasts to deepen engagement, strengthen retention and deliver enduring commercial success.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline, complemented by fluent written and spoken English; postgraduate qualifications, relevant professional training and additional languages would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 10 years’ progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, private members’ clubs, luxury lifestyle businesses or another high-touch membership environment, bringing the ability to inspire and develop teams in an international setting where exceptional service is an art.
• Proven success in translating a distinctive membership vision into an influential strategy, uniting the allure of belonging with sustainable acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue growth.
• Demonstrated experience nurturing enduring relationships with high-profile or high-net-worth members and prospects, pairing the art of personal connection with exceptional networking skills, cultural awareness, diplomacy and absolute confidentiality.
• A strong track record in orchestrating seamless membership operations, CRM, bespoke experiences and luxury partnerships, balanced by disciplined financial management, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with membership, CRM and hospitality systems.
