Jumeirah Burj Al Arab is seeking a Team Leader for the Concierge team in Dubai. You will manage special guest requests, coordinate events, and deliver personalised luxury service to VIP guests in one of the world’s most iconic hotels.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in a similar role, are fluent in English, and speak a second language. Proficiency in MS Office and experience in a multicultural setting are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar concierge role in a luxury property or branded restaurant
• Proficiency in English and a second language (Arabic, Spanish, German, Russian, French, Italian)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and handling complaints of varying severity

Responsibilities

• Manage and fulfil guest requests such as dining reservations, transportation arrangements, and bespoke local experiences with personalized service
• Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally with expert recommendations on hotel services, events, and local attractions
• Coordinate guest events or special occasions ensuring all arrangements meet guest expectations
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat guests and VIPs, offering thoughtful touches to enhance loyalty
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless fulfillment of guest requests

About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Concierge team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Manage and fulfil special guest requests, such as dining reservations, transportation arrangements, and bespoke local experiences, ensuring personalized service.
• Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally, providing expert recommendations on hotel services, events, and local attractions.
• Assist with the coordination of guest events or special occasions, ensuring all arrangements meet guest expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat guests and VIPs, offering thoughtful touches and personalized service to enhance loyalty.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure all guest requests are executed efficiently and seamlessly.

About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong concierge background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded restaurant.
• Proficient in English and a second language (Arabic, Spanish, German, Russian, French, Italian).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment; confident in successfully handling complaints of various severity.
