Job summary

Kerzner International’s Bab Al Shams Desert Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Server to deliver courteous, professional service across restaurants, bars, and room service. You will understand the menu, upsell, and ensure flawless service in a luxury, desert‑inspired setting in Dubai.

The role requires 1–2 years in a similar hotel position, HACCP certification, and experience with POS systems. You’ll rotate across sub‑departments within the F&B division and uphold HACCP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• F&B Vocational certificate or diploma.
• HACCP certified.
• 1–2 years in a similar position in a five‑star hotel.
• Experience with POS terminals and stock/inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Understand all menu items and suggest pairings to upsell.
• Welcomes and assists guests, maintaining courtesy and professionalism.
• Verify table/tray setup and assist guests in seating/departure.
• Take orders and ensure correct posting into the POS system (Micros).
• Prepare and serve food and beverages following hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and high standard of service and safety.
