Job summary

Bab Al Shams Desert Resort by Kerzner International Management seeks a Waiter/Waitress to provide courteous F&B service in our luxury outlets. You will understand menu items, assist guests, take orders, and ensure accurate posting in Micros, upholding HACCP standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or F&B cert, 1–2 years in a five‑star hotel, and be flexible, adaptable, and team‑oriented to excel in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• F&B vocational certificate or diploma.
• HACCP certified.
• 1–2 years in a similar position in a five‑star hotel.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Experience with POS terminals and stock/inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Understand all items and upsell combinations and suggest menu specials.
• Recognize and welcome every guest and assist with seating.
• Take orders and ensure correct posting into Micros.
• Prepare and serve orders with courteous, professional service.
• Handle money and guest charges accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, rotate within sub‑departments.
• Follow HACCP standards and SOPs; open/close procedures as assigned.
