Job summary

Hilti Emirates is seeking a Credit & Collection Specialist to drive healthy cash flow by managing customer accounts, credit evaluations, and collections. You will collaborate with Sales and Finance to mitigate risk and improve collection outcomes in a field-based role that includes regular customer visits.

You will evaluate financial information, implement credit policies, and negotiate payment terms while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Financial Analysis, Credit & Collections, or similar finance role.
• Experience evaluating financial information and an understanding of credit practices, procedures, and risk analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with SAP is a must.
• A UAE driving license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer account reconciliations and respond to inquiries related to invoices and balances.
• Review and assess customer credit applications, including financial information and credit eligibility.
• Support the implementation of credit and collection policies balancing customer service with timely payment collection.
• Monitor and manage customer credit exposure with Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with customers and internal teams to negotiate credit and payment terms when required.
• Provide visibility on receivables and account status through timely communication with stakeholders.
• Support payment plan discussions to minimize bad debt and improve collection outcomes.
• Monitor payment trends and escalate risks with recommended actions.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance collection processes and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.

Reporting to the Credit & Collection Manager, you will work closely with customers, Sales, and Finance teams and regularly visit customers as part of this field‑based role.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will partner with customers, sales, and internal stakeholders to support effective credit and collection activities while maintaining strong customer relationships. You will play an important part in ensuring timely payments, reducing commercial risk, and supporting the overall financial performance of the business.

• Manage customer account reconciliations and respond to customer inquiries related to invoices and outstanding balances
• Review and assess customer credit applications, including the evaluation of financial information and credit eligibility
• Support the implementation of credit and collection policies that balance customer service with timely payment collection
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to monitor and manage customer credit exposure
• Engage with customers and internal teams to negotiate credit and payment terms when required
• Provide visibility on receivables and account status through timely and clear communication with relevant stakeholders

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing collection processes and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines
• Handle challenging situations professionally and positively influence customers and stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Min 3 - 5 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Financial Analysis, Credit & Collections, or a similar finance role
• Experience evaluating financial information and an understanding of credit practices, procedures, and risk analysis
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands‑on experience with SAP is a must
• A UAE driving license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional environment
