Job summary

Hilti Emirates is seeking a Project Account Manager – Data Centers to drive business across UAE’s largest data center projects. You will stay close to projects and customers, translating technical requirements into Hilti solutions with strong cross‑functional support.

You will combine technical understanding, project management, and commercial ownership while building lasting relationships with engineers, contractors, and clients in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires data center construction knowledge and ability to translate drawings and specs into practical solutions.
• Experience engaging with engineering, construction and commercial teams to address challenges.
• Strong network within UAE data center industry and relationships with key stakeholders (MEP/GC/consultants).
• Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and coordinate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own data center projects in the UAE from early engagement through construction and completion.
• Build relationships with developers, consultants, GC, MEP contractors and subcontractors.
• Understand project stakeholders, technical requirements, procurement strategy and execution schedule.
• Identify and develop Hilti solutions across modular supports, MEP installations, passive fire protection and anchoring.
• Coordinate with Hilti Construction Project Manager to deliver complex solutions.

As Project Account Manager – Data Centers, you will play a key role in developing Hilti’s business across some of the UAE’s largest and most technically demanding data center projects.

This is not a traditional sales role. You will be close to the projects and customers, working across the full construction ecosystem to understand technical requirements, identify opportunities and connect Hilti’s engineering capabilities, solutions and services with the challenges our customers face.

We are looking for someone who understands how data centers are designed and built, can engage confidently on technical topics, and, ideally, has already an established network across the UAE data center construction industry.

You will combine technical understanding, project management and commercial ownership, building relationships from engineering and project management through to construction and site execution.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of assigned data center projects in the UAE, managing opportunities from early engagement through construction and project completion.


• Build and maintain strong relationships across the data center ecosystem, including developers, consultants, general contractors, MEP contractors and specialist subcontractors.


• Develop a detailed understanding of each project’s stakeholders, technical requirements, construction packages, procurement strategy and execution schedule.


• Engage with engineering, construction and commercial teams to identify project challenges and develop technically and commercially attractive solutions.


• Identify and develop opportunities for Hilti solutions across applications including modular support systems, MEP installations, passive fire protection, anchoring and other relevant technologies and services.


• Work together with Hilti Construction Project Manager to develop solutions for complex applications and support customers throughout execution.


• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops and training to create awareness and adoption of new technologies.


• Troubleshoot technical and application challenges together with customers and Hilti engineering teams.


• Coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure opportunities are progressed effectively and commitments are delivered.


• Develop a strong project pipeline, identify opportunities for growth and translate technical engagement into sustainable business.


• Build long-term customer relationships extending beyond individual projects and establish Hilti as a trusted partner within the UAE data center construction industry.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.


• Relevant professional experience within data center construction, mission-critical infrastructure or technically complex construction projects.


• Strong understanding of the UAE data center construction ecosystem and an established professional network within the industry.


• Existing relationships with MEP contractors, general contractors, consultants, specialist contractors, developers or other key data center stakeholders would be a strong advantage.


• Good understanding of MEP construction and coordination, project execution and the interaction between different construction packages.


• Ability to understand drawings, specifications and technical requirements and translate them into practical customer solutions.


• Strong commercial understanding and the ability to identify, develop and convert opportunities.


• Proven ability to manage complex customer and stakeholder relationships across different organizational levels.


• Strong project management and coordination skills.


• Confidence engaging both technical and commercial decision makers.


• Self-motivated, curious and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.


• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sales, engineering and specialist functions.

Data center industry experience and an established UAE network will be strongly preferred.
