Job summary

Tanqeeb in the UAE is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead residential and high-rise tower projects from mobilisation through handover. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and ensure QA/QC, HSE, and on-time delivery.

This role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 12–15 years of UAE experience with G+20 projects, plus strong planning and FIDIC contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12–15 years construction experience with at least 5 years in a CM/PM role.
• Proven delivery of residential/high-rise projects in the UAE (G+20+).
• Strong knowledge of structural works, finishing, façade, and MEP coordination.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts, variations, and subcontractor control.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction from mobilisation to handover of residential/high-rise projects.
• Develop and monitor programmes, method statements, and resource plans with Planning team.
• Manage site engineers, foremen, supervisors, and subcontractors per drawings and schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, design team, MEP, and client reps to resolve issues and clashes.
• Monitor costs, control variations, and support commercial with progress valuations and payments.
• Enforce QA/QC: inspections, material approvals, and compliance with Dubai authority requirements.
• Ensure strict HSE compliance and site safety practices.
• Track progress vs baseline, identify delays, implement recovery plans.
• Chair progress meetings and prepare reports for senior management.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.

Job description

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all construction activities from mobilisation through to handover of residential and high-rise tower projects.

• Develop and monitor construction programmes, method statements, and resource plans in coordination with the Planning team.

• Manage site engineers, foremen, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.

• Coordinate closely with consultants, the design team, MEP, and the client's representatives to resolve technical issues and design clashes.

• Monitor project costs, control variations, and support the commercial team with progress valuations and subcontractor payments.

• Enforce QA/QC procedures, including inspections, material approvals, and compliance with Dubai Municipality and authority requirements.

• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, regulations, and site safety practices.

• Track progress against the baseline programme, identify delays, and implement recovery plans.

• Chair site progress and coordination meetings and prepare regular reports for senior management.

• Oversee authority inspections, testing and commissioning, snagging, and final handover, including completion certificates.

• Mentor and develop site teams, fostering accountability and a strong performance culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum of 12–15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager role.

• Proven experience delivering residential and high-rise tower projects (G+20 and above) in the UAE.

• Solid background with main contracting firms in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of structural works, finishing, façade, and MEP coordination for high-rise buildings.

• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, and other UAE authority regulations and approval processes.

• Experience with FIDIC contracts, variation management, and subcontractor control.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
