Job summary

Findr DXB ( Dream Jobs HR Consultant LLC ) invites an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of high-rise projects in Dubai. You will oversee design, tendering, procurement, construction and handover while coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 10+ years in UAE, and proven capability with FIDIC contracts, MS Project, Primavera and Aconex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of UAE construction experience, including interiors and civil works.
• Experience with high-rise residential and commercial towers in UAE is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera and Aconex.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete project lifecycle from design through closeout.

Job description

Responsible for the end-to-end management and successful delivery of construction projects from design and tendering through execution, handover and closeout. Ensure projects meet approved *scope, cost, timelines, quality, functionality, safety and contractual requirements*, while leading project teams and coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, budgets, schedules and work plans; establish effective planning, tracking, governance and reporting systems.
• Lead the complete project lifecycle including design, tendering, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and closeout.
• Manage consultants, designers, main/sub-contractors, suppliers and project resources; ensure performance, deliverables and contractual obligations are met.
• Review designs, specifications, constructability, cost estimates and value-engineering proposals to achieve cost-effective, compliant and buildable solutions.
• Coordinate statutory approvals, permits, NOCs and authority submissions, ensuring timely clearances.
• Manage tendering and procurement including RFPs, BOQs, technical/commercial evaluations, contractor prequalification, negotiations, contract finalization and procurement budgets.
• Administer contracts, monitor compliance, variations, claims, change orders, payment procedures, contractual correspondence and risks, with strong focus on claims avoidance.
• Lead site execution through regular site visits, progress monitoring and coordination of technical/commercial teams; resolve construction, design, manpower and schedule issues promptly.
• Control project *time, cost, quality, cash flow and resources*; maintain budgets, forecasts and financial reports and highlight deviations requiring management decisions.
• Monitor contractor/subcontractor performance, construction schedules, quality standards, HSE requirements and environmental compliance.
• Manage project risks, delays, disruptions, variations and extensions of time; develop corrective and contingency actions.
• Lead progress meetings, stakeholder coordination and project reporting; maintain accurate project documentation and document control.
• Coordinate with Finance and other departments to ensure accurate information flow and effective resource utilization.
• Establish project governance and integrated operational plans; ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.
• Complete project closure, documentation, handover, snagging and resolution of post-handover issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years’ construction experience, including interiors and civil works.
• UAE experience in high-rise residential and commercial towers is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC.
• Comprehensive understanding of the construction process, building products, construction details, regulations and quality standards.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera and Aconex.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, commercial and stakeholder-management skills.
