Job summary

Rakhat Construction in Dubai is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to supervise all on-site activities for residential villa projects. You will manage civil and finishing works from substructure to handover, ensuring quality, schedule, and safety compliance across UAE sites.

The role requires 4–6 years of villa project experience in the UAE, reading architectural and structural drawings, and coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and safety officers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Construction Foreman on villa projects in the UAE (G+1/G+2 residential villas, townhouses, or similar).
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, BOQs, and method statements.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multicultural teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily villa construction activities including excavation, foundations, blockwork, plastering, screed, tiling, painting, waterproofing, MEP coordination, and external works.
• Allocate tasks to masons, steel fixers, carpenters, helpers, and subcontractors to meet the project program for each villa.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved architectural/structural drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship, levels, dimensions, and finishes; take corrective action to maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, MEP teams, QA/QC, and safety officers for inspections, approvals, and issue resolution.
• Plan and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for smooth daily operations across villa units.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, enforce HSE rules, and ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices on site.
• Maintain daily site records: manpower attendance, progress per villa, material usage, and site reports.
• Ensure good housekeeping, material storage, and a clean, organized work area for each villa.
• Support snagging, client/consultant inspections, and handover activities as directed by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Construction Foreman on villa projects in the UAE (G+1/G+2 residential villas, townhouses, or similar).
• Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, BOQs, and method statements.
• Solid knowledge of villa construction methods, finishes, and UAE site practices.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multicultural teams effectively.
• Familiarity with MOHRE, site safety regulations, and authority requirements (DM, DDA, DEWA, etc.) is an advantage.
