Job summary

Confidential is seeking a hands-on Civil Foreman to coordinate site workers, organize daily activities, and ensure civil works meet project requirements, drawings, and safety procedures.

You will organize, supervise and guide masons, helpers, steel fixers and carpenters, ensuring tasks align with drawings and project timelines while maintaining safe working conditions on site.

Civil construction projects in Dubai require a hands‑on Civil Foreman to coordinate site workers, organize daily activities, and ensure civil works are completed according to project requirements, drawings, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise daily civil construction activities at the assigned site.
• Distribute work among masons, helpers, steel fixers, carpenters, and other site workers.
• Interpret basic construction drawings and communicate work requirements to the workforce.
• Monitor concrete, blockwork, plastering, masonry, formwork, and other civil activities.
• Check workmanship and ensure tasks are completed according to required standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors regarding daily work priorities.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of construction materials and tools.
• Check work progress and report delays or site issues to management.
• Ensure workers follow approved methods and site safety instructions.
• Coordinate manpower according to project schedules and work requirements.
• Identify workmanship problems and arrange necessary corrections.
• Maintain basic records of manpower, work completed, materials, and daily activities.
• Keep the work area organized and ensure proper housekeeping on site.
• Support site inspections and assist engineers during measurements and technical checks.
• Ensure assigned work is completed within the planned schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Civil Foreman, Site Foreman, or Civil Supervisor is preferred.
• Diploma, ITI, or technical qualification in Civil Construction is an advantage.
• Experienced candidates and suitably qualified freshers may apply.
• Good understanding of civil construction methods and site activities.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
• Practical knowledge of masonry, concrete, formwork, plastering, and related works.
• Strong workforce coordination and leadership skills.
• Able to identify construction defects and arrange corrective work.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a construction‑site environment.
• Able to work under project deadlines and changing site conditions.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
