Job summary

Our client is seeking a Civil Foreman for Abu Dhabi project sites. The role requires proven supervision of steel fixing, masonry and carpentry on high-profile villa projects, with 5–8 years of civil experience and 2+ years in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of building construction experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE in supervisory roles.
• Ability to read drawings, manage productivity, and supervise workers.
• Overseas shuttering experience is preferred.
• Familiar with slabs, columns, beams, walls, raft rebar works and installation for different systems; adheres to safety and QA/QC requirements.

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Civil Foremen experienced in steel fixing, masonry and carpentry to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on high profile new villa projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Civil Foreman working on high profile projects in the UAE with preference given to those with prior experience in working for recognised Main Contracting Companies

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract position employed as an outsource candidate through J10 Consulting.

There is an option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site operations, labor, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Manager, and other trades.

Desired Candidate Profile

Civil Foreman Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in building construction projects, at least 2 in the UAE in supervisory capacity as foreman or chargehand.
• Knowledge of reading drawing, productivity requirement and supervise jworkers
• Overseas Experience involved in shuttering works is preferred.
• Should be familiar with different types of slab, column, beams, walls, raft rebar works.
• Should be familiar in installation works for the different Systems.
• Should be familiar to demonstrate the applicable Quality requirements
• Should be familiar to demonstrate the applicable Safety requirements such as Temporary work procedures
