Job summary

JR Interiors Decoration L L C is seeking a Construction Engineer in Dubai to lead civil construction and interior fit-out efforts from planning to handover. The role requires 5+ years of UAE experience and proficiency with Dubai authorities.

You will coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors, ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project schedules across residential, commercial, and retail projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience in civil construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Experience with residential, commercial, and retail fit-out projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, Dubai Civil Defense procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction and interior fit-out activities from initiation to handover.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project progress to meet deadlines and budget.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents for execution accuracy.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with relevant UAE authorities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, regulations and HSE standards.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and labor teams to hit milestones.
• Monitor quality control, material usage and productivity; resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage civil construction and interior fit-out activities from project initiation to handover
• Plan coordinate and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within budget
• Liaise with consultants clients subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
• Review drawings specifications BOQs and technical documents to ensure execution as per approved plans
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with Dubai Municipality DM Trakhees Dubai Development Authority DDA Dubai Civil Defense DCD and other relevant authorities
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes authority regulations and HSE standards
• Manage site engineers supervisors subcontractors and labor teams to achieve project milestones
• Monitor quality control material usage and project productivity
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate design changes with consultants and project teams
• Prepare project reports progress updates inspection requests and documentation
• Coordinate authority inspections approvals and project close-out documentation
• Ensure all statutory approvals and permits are obtained before and during project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in civil construction and interior fit-out projects
• Proven experience handling residential commercial and retail fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality Trakhees DDA Dubai Civil Defense and other UAE authority procedures
• Must hold G 4 Accreditation Mandatory
• Must possess Trakhees-affiliated engineering accreditation cards Mandatory
• Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations authority submissions inspections and approvals
• Proficient in AutoCAD MS Project Primavera preferred and Microsoft Office
• Excellent leadership communication and project coordination skills
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred
