Job summary

EDITION Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking a guest services professional to respond to guest requests, arrange services, and provide information about local amenities and events. You will answer calls, coordinate with other departments, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining professional standards.

The role requires interactions with guests, committee-style teamwork, and adherence to safety, confidentiality, and hotel policies on a shift basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers.
• Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and surrounding area amenities, including events and activities.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Bell desk, Housekeeping) to resolve guest queries and issues.
• Review logs and memo books; ensure outstanding requests from previous days are prioritized and completed.
• Monitor inventory and order general office supplies.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft; assist with safety and incident reporting.
