Job summary

PULLMAN is seeking a skilled Commis I to support diverse international cuisines in its Heartists Cafeteria in Dubai. You will assist in prepping Asian, African, Arabic, Indian and Continental dishes, ensuring flavor, presentation and adherence to HACCP standards.

The role requires prior Commis I experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or large-scale catering operation, and a culinary degree or certification. This is an on-site position with a dynamic, multicultural kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commis I or similar role in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, resort, or large-scale catering operation.
• Knowledge of Asian (Filipino, Myanmar, Indonesian), African, Arabic, Indian, and Continental cuisines.
• Experience in preparing and supporting breakfast service across various international cuisines.
• HACCP knowledge and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain quality in a multicultural kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook diverse international dishes across Asian, African, Arabic, Indian and Continental cuisines.
• Support daily breakfast preparation and service in the Heartists Cafeteria.
• Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation, and monitor food safety and hygiene.
• Ensure proper storage, stock rotation and cleanliness in the kitchen.
